At Marymound, we seek a committed Registered Nurse who is passionate about youth mental health and addictions. This part-time role of 40 hours bi-weekly requires strong interpersonal skills, relevant experience, and a dedication to teamwork. Nurses are directly responsible for medical assessments, treatment plans, and ensuring the safety of youth in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate admission and discharge of youth
• Complete physical and mental health assessments
• Develop treatment plans with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor health status of youth during stays
• Provide necessary medical treatments as directed
Requirements:
• RN/BN/RPN licensed in Manitoba
• Experience in mental health or addictions preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Independent and team-oriented work ability
• Clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks
