In this position, you will perform hemo-dialysis, conduct patient assessment for renal issues, and provide essential primary care treatments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient health while engaging in teaching duties regarding renal health and prevention strategies. Your expertise will help foster community health awareness and support ongoing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled hemo-dialysis and primary care treatments
• Conduct patient assessments for renal health issues
• Teach patients and nursing students about renal health
• Develop and maintain clinic policies and procedures
• Liaise with healthcare professionals for effective patient care
Requirements:
• Current RN/BN or LPN with relevant registration
• Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course completion preferred
• One to two years of renal nursing experience
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
This role demands expertise in renal care, patient interactions, and a passion for community health initiatives.
