Location: Winkler
Join the Inpatient Unit at Eden Mental Health Centre as a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on patient recovery and management of mental health challenges.
As a Nurse II, you will act as a vital resource, helping patients transition towards stabilization and discharge.
Your role includes regular assessments, planning care, and working collaboratively with various healthcare professionals. Focus on empowering patients through therapeutic support and the recovery model philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patient assessments of mental health
• Develop individualized nursing care plans
• Implement direct nursing services and patient education
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans
• Engage patients with therapeutic conversations and support
Requirements:
• Active RN or Registered Psychiatric Nurse license in Manitoba
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Physically capable of meeting job demands
• Successful criminal and abuse registry checks
