Community Health Nurse Position

As a Community Health Nurse, you will leverage your two years of nursing experience in primary care, community health, and ambulatory care services. The position emphasizes teamwork and effective communication, ensuring the provision of quality health care services. You will also engage with clients who need physical and mental support during their visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary care and health education in the community

• Assess patient needs through physical examinations

• Support interdisciplinary collaboration for holistic care

• Provide mental health counseling as needed

• Work in diverse clinic settings, including patients' homes

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience

• Approved Registered Nursing education required

• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• CPR training in accordance with workplace standards

• Preference for candidates knowledgeable in Indigenous customs
