The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, infectious diseases, or internal medicine. You will be involved in assessing and managing complex multi-system conditions, ensuring quality care. Preference is given to those with specialized training in infectious diseases and knowledge of Indigenous health practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage chronic and complex patient conditions
• Provide care for emerging infectious diseases like Lyme disease
• Lead healthcare teams in patient assessments and interventions
• Document patient care and maintain communication with health teams
• Foster relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Active RN Extended Practice registration
• Proficiency in managing healthcare technologies
• Effective communication skills, preferably in an Indigenous language
