Nurse Practitioner in Manitoba Health

Contribute to patient-centered care with Shared Health as a Nurse Practitioner in Manitoba. This role emphasizes primary care and management of chronic conditions such as Long COVID and infectious diseases.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, infectious diseases, or internal medicine. You will be involved in assessing and managing complex multi-system conditions, ensuring quality care. Preference is given to those with specialized training in infectious diseases and knowledge of Indigenous health practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage chronic and complex patient conditions

• Provide care for emerging infectious diseases like Lyme disease

• Lead healthcare teams in patient assessments and interventions

• Document patient care and maintain communication with health teams

• Foster relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field

• Active RN Extended Practice registration

• Proficiency in managing healthcare technologies

• Effective communication skills, preferably in an Indigenous language
