Winnipeg Cardiac Surgery Registered Nurse

Make a meaningful impact as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit in Winnipeg. This in-person role requires surgical or cardiology nursing experience alongside current CRNM registration.

The position supports the team during maternity leave coverage with the potential for contract until July 2027. Candidates should possess at least one year of relevant nursing experience. Active engagement in nursing associations is appreciated to enrich the workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care for patients in cardiac surgery

• Maintain patient safety and wellbeing at all times

• Record and evaluate patient data accurately

• Work within a collaborative healthcare team

• Participate in necessary training and skills evaluations

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in surgical or cardiology nursing

• Approved Registered Nursing education program graduate

• Must have active CRNM registration

• Annual BLS Level C Registration required

• Complete Advanced Assessment Course when available
