As a Public Health Nurse (PHN), you will leverage nursing theory and public health science to support individuals and families. The role entails partnering with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and infants. You will focus on health assessments, education, and community engagement to reduce health inequities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial health assessments for pregnant women
• Manage and coordinate fetal assessments and lab tests
• Provide expert health education on pregnancy and care
• Foster collaboration between families and healthcare teams
• Champion health promotion across community settings
Requirements:
• Minimum two years nursing experience required
• Recent high-risk obstetrics experience within five years
• Required Baccalaureate Nursing degree
• Active CRNM registration required
• Current CPR certification required
