Join a multi-disciplinary practice team where you'll autonomously order tests, prescribe treatments, and perform minor procedures. This Nurse Practitioner position prioritizes improving health outcomes and continuity of care while embodying the values of collaboration and compassion. Your expertise in mental health and addictions will be pivotal in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests independently
• Prescribe pharmacologic therapies as required
• Implement strategies for health improvement
• Consult with primary care providers
• Educate clients and team members in advanced nursing practices
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream
• Current registration with CRNM, including OAT prescription
• Minimum five years clinical nursing experience
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and recovery models
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
