Enhance community health as a Public Health Nurse with Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority in Arborg.

In this position, you will report to the Clinical Team Manager and utilize public health sciences and nursing theory to make a positive impact. The Public Health Nurse is crucial in improving health outcomes, supporting reproductive health, and implementing strategies for disease prevention. You'll engage in community development while striving for culturally safe practices to empower individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply public health sciences to promote community health
• Support reproductive health and postpartum care for families
• Implement disease prevention strategies to reduce health inequities
• Facilitate community participation and engagement initiatives
• Work independently while respecting diverse populations
Requirements:
• Active Practice Registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Minimum two years of Public Health Nursing experience
• Knowledge of Public Health Act and confidentiality laws
