Drive health and wellness initiatives as the Health and Wellness Manager at Cogir in Winnipeg, MB. This part-time, 10-month contract focuses on fostering a thriving community for seniors.
Cogir Senior Living needs a passionate clinical leader committed to enhancing the well-being of its residents. You will utilize your clinical expertise to manage programs, ensuring individualized care and regulatory compliance. Building strong relationships with staff and residents alike is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the management of clinical care programs
• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and service plans
• Hire, train, and mentor a skilled clinical team
• Ensure adherence to legal and ethical care standards
• Collaborate with various departments for improved resident experience
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse or equivalent credentials
• 5 years of clinical experience; 1 year in a leadership role
• Experience managing teams in a nursing home setting
• Understanding of financials and departmental budgets
• Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check if not current
