Part Time Registered Nurse Position

As a valued member of Extendicare, you will ensure residents' care assessments and documentation are precise. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will manage care plans, oversee medication administration, and facilitate resident education. This role emphasizes strong communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and update residents’ care assessments and service plans

• Administer medications in accordance with regulations and policies

• Plan and coordinate resident care with interdisciplinary teams

• Respond to medical emergencies and significant condition changes

• Supervise medication administration by Unregulated Care Providers

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration for applicable Province/State

• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers

• Skills in Microsoft Office and strong communication

• Clinical knowledge and ability to delegate responsibilities

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 6 months)
