Position: Renal Nurse Needed for Northern Clinics
The University of Manitoba seeks a Renal Nurse for a part-time role dedicated to Northern Manitoba communities. In this role, you will perform hemodialysis and participate in local specialty clinics.

As a key member of our healthcare team, your responsibilities will include administering treatments, conducting foot assessments, and liaising with various health professionals. This job focuses on improving patient care through education and collaboration, while engaging with the community to address health needs and challenges. You'll play a crucial role in healthcare delivery within diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer hemodialysis and primary care treatments

• Engage with primary-care staff and community resources

• Document patient interactions and maintain records

• Assist patients with medical form completion

• Provide outreach education to Island Lake communities

Requirements:

• Current RN/BN or LPN with CLPNM registration

• Completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course

• Needed:
Basic Life Support certification

• 1-2 years renal nursing experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and educational skills

Lead patient care initiatives and foster health education as a Renal Nurse in Northern Manitoba.
