Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Trauma​/Surgery

Enhance patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic Trauma and Surgery. This role involves independent nursing services, medical treatment administration, and patient care coordination.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Health Services, the RN will provide professional nursing care, particularly for patients with complex health needs. Preferred candidates will have one year of acute surgical or orthopedic experience, alongside knowledge of nursing standards and practices. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the healthcare team and managing patient discharge effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing services for patients

• Administer prescribed medical treatments as directed

• Lead coordination of patient care and discharge

• Maintain adherence to nursing standards and ethics

• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members

Requirements:

• One year of surgical or orthopedic nursing experience

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• CPR certification per employer policy

• Background checks including Criminal Records Check
