Assist residents in achieving their health goals as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) s position emphasizes critical thinking, effective communication, and delegation skills.
In your role as an LPN, you'll work closely with the Director of Care to provide exceptional nursing services. Your focus will be on assessing resident health, creating individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments
• Create personalized care plans in partnership with residents
• Monitor and evaluate health goals progress
• Delegate tasks to healthcare aides appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
• Completion of a Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
• Experience in relevant clinical settings preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Capability to adapt in stressful situations
