Part-Time LPN

Position: Part-Time LPN Role at Extendicare

In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Health & Wellness, implementing care plans and supporting residents’ needs. Key tasks include clinical assessments, medication administration, and facilitating resident education. A strong commitment to ethics and integrity aligns with Extendicare's values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the nursing team on care assignments

• Conduct and document clinical assessments accurately

• Facilitate resident/family education and support conferences

• Administer medications following regulatory standards

• Manage emergency situations effectively

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Experience in long-term care or gerontology

• Strong time management and care coordination skills

• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check
