Winnipeg OR Registered Nurse Position

Contribute to the healthcare community in Winnipeg as a Registered Nurse 2 in the Operating Room. This full-time position requires skilled perioperative nursing and direct patient engagement.

The role is integral to the OR Clinical department and involves hands-on participation in surgical procedures and patient care. Candidates are strongly encouraged to have invasive pressure monitoring skills and experience in perioperative nursing. Successful completion of the AORN Periop 101 course is preferred to support your continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during surgical operations

• Track and assess patient vital signs continuously

• Operate within the surgical team collaboratively

• Ensure compliance with all sterilization and safety protocols

• Promote patient wellness during recovery phases

Requirements:

• Completion of a Registered Nursing education program

• Active CRNM registration is essential

• BLS Level C certification required annually

Preferred qualifications:

EKG and Conscious Sedation training

• Prior experience in a surgical environment is favorable
