With at least two years of experience in long-term or continuing care, you will assist in planning, executing, and assessing staff development programs. You will engage in mentoring and support the transition of care practices, ensuring adherence to safety initiatives within the healthcare setting. Your skills in adult education will be essential in developing effective learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and assess educational programs for nursing staff
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for adult learners
• Coordinate valuable orientation programs for new staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality improvement
• Evaluate learning processes to meet clinical needs
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is mandatory
• Two years of recent clinical experience required
• Experience in competency-based education preferred
• Active registration with relevant nursing association
• BLS Instructor certification is required
