Cardiac Registered Nurse at St. Boniface Hospital

Join St. Boniface Hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac care. This role involves assisting with complex interventions in a hybrid clinical setting.

As a Registered Nurse under the Health Services Manager, you will support Interventional Cardiologists with procedures such as coronary angiograms and aortic and mitral valve insertions. Candidates should possess at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU or Adult Emergency Room, complemented by recent critical care exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with various cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures

• Support physicians during coronary and valve procedures

• Monitor patients in acute cardiac situations

• Perform shunt calculations and temporary pacemaker insertions

• Use intravascular ultrasound and other relevant technologies

Requirements:

• Two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting

• ICU or Adult Emergency Room experience preferred

• Registered with C.R.N.M or eligible for registration

• Current B.L.S. certification required

• Advanced Assessment course preferred
