Surgical Clinical Resource Nurse

Reporting to the Surgical unit, the Clinical Resource Nurse will play a vital role in patient care in the A3 Thoracic/Vascular/PCU-S department. Candidates must have at least three years of recent acute care experience, with a focus on critical situations and surgical procedures. Candidates with knowledge of Indigenous customs are encouraged to apply, as diversity is valued at Shared Health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centered care in surgical settings
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the unit
• Implement established protocols and care assessments
• Maintain updated knowledge of nursing standards and practices
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of acute care surgical nursing experience
• Graduate of an approved RN education program required
• Successful completion of courses in Critical Care and ECG Monitoring
• Active registration with CRNM and CPR training
• Ability to adapt in high-pressure situations
