Perioperative Nurse at Shared Health

Join Shared Health as a Perioperative Nurse in Winnipeg. This in-person role focuses on providing quality care throughout the surgical process while adhering to health standards and nursing practices.

As a Perioperative Nurse with Shared Health, you will work under the guidance of the O.R. Manager at the Health Sciences Centre. This position requires current perioperative nursing experience or an accredited Operating Room Nursing program completion. You will perform assessments, plan and implement nursing interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes during the perioperative period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuity of care for surgical patients

• Execute assessments and develop care plans

• Implement and evaluate perioperative nursing interventions

• Participate in continuing education and research

• Engage in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program

• Current perioperative nursing experience or training

• CNA Perioperative Nursing Certification preferred

• Maintain registration with CRNM

• CPR training at the Health Care Provider level
