Position: Hybrid Midwife Role
Step into a rewarding midwifery role with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a midwife, you will provide essential care to women during their childbearing year in a hybrid work model.

This 0.50 FTE position at the WRHA Community Health Services requires relevant midwifery practice aligned with Manitoba's standards. Your main duties include offering midwifery services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining strong community relationships. Expect diverse shifts including days, evenings, and weekends to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary care provider during the childbearing year

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for patient care

• Maintain communication with staff and medical services

• Actively engage in professional development activities

• Provide on-call coverage within a practice group

Requirements:

• Recent midwifery experience fulfilling Manitoba’s registration standards

• CPR and neonatal resuscitation certification required

• Valid Manitoba driver’s license and vehicle access

• Eligible for liability insurance through WRHA

• Ability to work under various conditions and lift clinical equipment
