Join Shared Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Winnipeg's Renal Program, offering exceptional patient care within a supportive healthcare team. This role demands hands-on nursing skills and expertise in nephrology.
As part of the Health Sciences Centre team, you will provide critical nursing support to renal patients and play an integral role in their treatment process. Key responsibilities include administering IV therapy and monitoring patient progress while ensuring compliance with medical standards. A flexible schedule is necessary as shifts may include evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care for renal patients
• Administer IV medications accurately
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure patient compliance with care protocols
• Maintain detailed patient documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
• LPN program graduation required
• Certification in IV medication administration
• CPR training as required by the employer
• Registration with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
