Intensive Treatment Psychiatric Nurse

Deliver compassionate care in the Intensive Treatment Service at Shared Health in Winnipeg. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you'll implement client treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

As a key member of the Intensive Treatment Service at Shared Health, you will be responsible for direct client care, including planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Your expertise in psychiatry and preferred experience in child and adolescent mental health will enhance service delivery. You'll also administer medications, provide therapeutic interventions, and identify community resources to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care and support

• Develop, implement, and assess treatment plans

• Administer medications and monitor effects

• Foster inter-professional relationships and collaboration

• Identify and utilize community resources effectively

Requirements:

• Experience in psychiatry required

• Preferred Child and Adolescent Mental Health experience

• Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric Nursing program

• Active registration with CRPNM or CRNM

• Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check required
