Labour Delivery Recovery Nurse Role

This role offers an opportunity for bilingual nurses dedicated to maternal health.
Working as a Clinical Practice Nurse under the supervision of the Manager Health Services, you will deliver specialized nursing care for patients during crucial recovery stages. Applicants should have Labour/Delivery/Recovery experience or substantial mother-baby care background, along with the capability to lead patient care.
Your role will involve high-stakes decision-making and patient-focused treatment coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing services for complex patient needs
• Oversee patient care and facilitate discharges
• Administer and manage prescribed treatments
• Lead and mentor team members in the health unit
• Complete required training promptly, including the Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Requirements:
• Must possess recent relevant nursing experience
• Current registration with CRNM is required
• Familiarity with operating room procedures preferred
• Fluent in both English and French
• Must pass necessary criminal checks for employment
