Perioperative Nurse at Shared Health

Enhance surgical care as a Perioperative Nurse with Shared Health in Winnipeg. Focus on patient-centered service during the perioperative period while working full-time in an in-person role.

This position requires current related perioperative nursing experience or completion of an accredited Operating Room Nursing program. Under the O.R. Manager, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions while supporting departmental quality assurance activities. You’ll also engage in professional growth opportunities and research activities within perioperative nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuity of care for surgical patients

• Assess and implement perioperative nursing interventions

• Participate in departmental quality assurance activities

• Engage in continuing education for professional growth

• Conduct research to enhance nursing practice

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with an approved nursing program

• Current CRNM registration and CPR training required

• Competency in Indigenous language is preferred

• Strong communication skills for effective decision-making

• Physical stamina for moderate to heavy lifting
