Elevate patient care as a Nursing Assistant with Cancer Care Manitoba in Winnipeg. This permanent role involves supporting patients and maintaining a clean work environment every shift.
At Cancer Care Manitoba, the Nursing Assistant reports to the Unit Manager and plays a key role in providing care and comfort while performing various clerical tasks. This position requires working on days with a full-time commitment and includes training in personal protective equipment. Successful candidates will work in a supportive outpatient clinic services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the comfort and care of patients
• Manage clerical tasks effectively within the unit
• Ensure clinical work environment cleanliness
• Lift and transport patients, samples, and equipment
• Support staff and perform essential administrative functions
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Course
• Basic computer skills required
• Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain
• Physical capability for patient lifting and transporting
• Legal ability to work in Canada
