Perioperative Nursing Position

Become a key player in surgical care as a Perioperative Nurse at Shared Health in Winnipeg. This in-person role involves working in a fast-paced Adult Operating Room.

The Health Sciences Centre is seeking dedicated candidates for its perioperative nursing team. Ideal applicants will have relevant experience or completed an accredited program. The role requires excellent communication skills and the capacity to thrive under stress while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care for surgical patients

• Work effectively with all surgical personnel

• Document patient information accurately

• Ensure readiness to respond with CPR skills

• Pursue ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

• Registration with the CRNM required

• Must have graduated from a recognized Nursing program

• Preferred: CNA certification in Perioperative Nursing

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in the OR
