Nursing Position: Perioperative Services

Drive quality patient care in the role of Perioperative Nurse at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg with Shared Health. This in-person position centers around delivering exceptional surgical patient care.

In this position, you will work under the O.R. Manager to promote Shared Health's objectives and ensure patient satisfaction throughout the perioperative experience. Your focus will be on assessment, planning, and evaluating nursing practices while participating in educational and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized care during the perioperative period

• Assess and plan appropriate nursing interventions

• Collaborate and communicate with surgical teams effectively

• Engage in continuing education and research opportunities

• Support departmental quality improvement efforts

Requirements:

• Perioperative nursing experience or training required

• Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Preferred CNA certification in Perioperative Nursing

• CPR at the Health Care Provider level

• Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
