Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department located in Portage la Prairie. The successful candidate will apply their nursing skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest level of care for patients. Emphasis will be placed on teamwork and continuous learning to improve service delivery and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients in the Emergency Department

• Collaborate with staff for effective patient care

• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality standards

• Document patient interactions and progress accurately

• Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

• Valid BLS and ACLS certification; CTAS preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Competence in handling diverse patient needs

• Willing to travel between facilities if required
