Part-Time Resident Care Manager Role

Under the guidance of the Director of Care, the Resident Care Manager is instrumental in delivering quality care in our long-term facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years' supervisory experience in geriatrics or rehabilitation and be a registered nurse. This management role emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to delivering exceptional resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous improvement in resident satisfaction and care quality

• Collaborate with nursing staff on care assessments and plans

• Recruit, supervise, and discipline nursing team members

• Manage complaints and care issues with residents and families

• Provide staff development and educational resources for caregiving

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in healthcare

• Current RN license or eligibility for registration in Manitoba

• Familiarity with MDS and care management systems

• Demonstrated leadership and ethics in care practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
