Experienced Public Health Nurse Needed

Join Southern Health-Santé Sud as an Experienced Public Health Nurse dedicated to fostering community health in Winkler/Morden. Help shape strong family dynamics and health education through a people-centered approach.

This position involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, applying your Public Health Nursing knowledge to assess and improve health determinants among vulnerable populations. With at least two years of relevant experience, you will supervise Home Visitors, ensure program quality, and support family health initiatives.

Your role is pivotal in developing equitable health outcomes and enriching the lives of community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and promote health activities

• Supervise a team of Home Visitors in resource delivery

• Collaborate on health programs that address community needs

• Engage in data collection and program evaluation

• Provide education on public health standards to families

Requirements:

• 2+ years Public Health Nursing experience required

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing necessary

• Experience in reflective supervision is mandatory

• Active Practice Registration in Manitoba

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
