Under the leadership of the Director of Primary Care, this full-time role comprises 77.50 hours over a two-week period, focusing on specialized nursing for HIV patients and at-risk populations. You will be instrumental in providing assessment, chronic disease education, and urgent care, while ensuring ongoing case management across diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and conduct sexual health examinations for patients
• Facilitate health promotion initiatives and chronic disease education
• Provide urgent triage services as required
• Engage in ongoing case management for the HIV-infected
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Completion of Baccalaureate in Nursing or pertinent clinical experience
• Must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, active
• Preferred: RN Authorized Prescriber in reproductive and sexual health
• Strong commitment to supporting diverse populations
