Family Medicine Licensed Practical Nurse

Join the Family Medicine team in Winnipeg as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) focusing on quality care and patient support. This role involves hands-on nursing and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

We're looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for the Family Medicine 5U4-7 unit. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience and certification in IV Therapy. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing patient assessments, and enabling care according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care in a clinical setting

• Administer IV medications and therapies

• Engage in patient assessment and monitoring

• Document patient interactions and care plans

• Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved LPN program

• Current certification in IV Therapy and CPR

• Proof of registration with the College of LPNs of Manitoba

• Knowledge of relevant nursing practices and regulations

• Capacity for moderate to heavy lifting and rotation shifts
