St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its dedicated team within the Winnipeg Health Region. Candidates should have experience in invasive pressure monitoring and perioperative nursing. Those without prior operating room training must complete the AORN Periop 101 course within three months of employment, ensuring ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care during surgeries in the operating room
• Monitor invasive pressures for patient health
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Ensure adherence to nursing best practices and procedures
• Participate in orientation training for operating room nurses
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program
• Current CRNM registration required
• Successful completion of BLS Level C certification
• Preference for EKG and conscious sedation training
• Ability to handle standby and on-call shifts
