Position: Youth Care Nurse Position Available
Support youth in a secure setting at Marymound as a Youth Care Nurse. This role enhances the lives of young people through dedicated assessments and tailored care plans.

We are looking for a passionate nurse to work with youth facing challenges in a short-term stabilization unit. Successful candidates must be licensed in Manitoba and capable of developing effective treatment strategies in coordination with families and team members. Your contributions will ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage admissions and discharges of youth in the unit

• Carry out mental and physical health assessments

• Collaborate to create and manage treatment plans

• Provide medical care as directed by physicians

• Educate families on health promotion regarding addiction

Requirements:

• RN/BN/RPN license with addictions experience preferred

• Excellent physical and mental well-being

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work various shifts

• Criminal and child abuse registry checks required
