Position: Surgical Team Lead Role
Join Maples Surgical Centre as a Surgical Team Lead, focusing on patient safety and operational efficiency in the operating room. Work full-time from Monday to Friday in Winnipeg.

This position with Clearpoint Health Network calls for a dedicated Team Lead with either an RN or LPN background and experience in the operating room. You will manage the surgical team, facilitate communication, and implement best practices in compliance and patient care. Your leadership will be crucial in enhancing surgical outcomes and team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the perioperative nursing staff through best practices

• Serve as the primary contact for OR-related communications

• Engage in compliance and quality assurance initiatives

• Monitor resource allocation and manage operating room schedules

• Enforce patient safety measures and infection protocols

Requirements:

• RN or LPN certified with Canadian governing status

• Solid experience in the operating room and certification

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Capacity to perform well under duress in a surgical setting

• Consistent attendance and reliability in shifts
