Position: Practical Nurse Role Healthcare

In this in-person role within the Renal Health Program, you will provide independent nursing services and interact with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses one year of acute medical/surgical experience and is interested in specializing in nephrology through designated training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing services to patients

• Administer medical treatments as prescribed

• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient management

• Participate in the discharge process for patients

• Complete necessary training for nephrology nursing qualifications

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized LPN program

• Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience

• Active registration with the College of Practical Nurses of Manitoba

• Current CPR certification per employer standards

• Successful criminal and background checks required
