Join Gerdau as an Occupational Health Nurse at our Selkirk facility, focusing on employee health, safety, and wellness. This full-time position entails providing comprehensive health services and managing various safety initiatives.
You will communicate daily with a diverse group of individuals, including management and union representatives, to address health needs at Gerdau's Manitoba Mill. Your responsibilities involve overseeing the Disability Management process, conducting health screenings, and leading health education efforts. The role plays a crucial part in fostering a safe and healthy workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Disability Management process and return-to-work coordination

• Administer hearing conservation programs and screenings

• Deliver wellness programs and health education

• Provide immediate first aid services to employees

• Analyze monthly incident reports for safety recommendations
Requirements:

• BN, RN, LPN, or Occupational Health Nursing Certificate designation

• Willingness to obtain Licensure as an Industrial Audiometric Technician

• 3-5 years of nursing experience in a manufacturing setting

• Prior emergency response experience

• Strong organizational and communication skills
