Part-Time Registered Nurse

Position: Part-Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare
Enhance lives as a part-time Registered Nurse with Extendicare, providing quality care in a supportive environment. You will administer medication, lead resident assessments, and collaborate closely with the healthcare team.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Health and Wellness and focus on direct resident care while maintaining compliance with Extendicare's policies. You will engage with seniors, conduct assessments, and ensure their care plans are effectively communicated. Collaborating with unregulated care providers forms a key part of your job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete resident assessments and care documentation

• Administer medication in compliance with regulations

• Facilitate resident care conferences

• Respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions

• Educate residents and families on care processes

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in your province

• Experience working with seniors

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Ability to manage medication and care plans

• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
