Psychiatric Emergency Nurse - Child Mental Health

Support vulnerable families as a Psychiatric Emergency Nurse with Shared Health in Winnipeg. Focus on child and adolescent patients in an in-person role that combines assessment, intervention, and support.
This role at Health Sciences Centre requires a compassionate nurse with experience in acute mental health. You will provide mental health consultations, crisis intervention, and strategic care plans for patients primarily within the Emergency Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients using comprehensive psychiatric assessments

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years acute mental health experience needed

• Expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health preferred

• Current registration with CRNM or CRPNM

• Strong interpersonal and teaching abilities

• Critical thinking and organizational skills necessary
