Experience
Previous experience required will vary by nursing unit.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Successful completion of the Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
Current CRNM registration required.
Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Qualifications and Skills
Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French). *
* Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

** The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth conversations with patients and families. Language proficiency will be evaluated in order to assess the applicant’s proficiency level. For more information on the required proficiency level, please contact the Human Resources Department.

Physical Requirements

Note:

Please be advised that there are staggered start and finish times for day and evening shifts on this unit:

Day shifts are between the hours of 0730 and 1545.
Evening shifts are between the hours of 1130 and 2345.
There are also standby on call shifts on this unit.
