This part-time role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 32-bed unit, attending to various medical needs such as cardiac, diabetes, and respiratory conditions. As an RPN, you will work closely with a diverse team of professionals, ensuring that all patient concerns are effectively addressed. Your responsibilities will align with the centre’s commitment to high-quality care and adherence to legislative nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate care to patients on the unit
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for seamless care
• Ensure compliance with nursing protocols in medication administration
• Document patient care activities thoroughly
• Advocate for patients' needs in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements:
• Hold a Registered Practical Nursing Diploma
• Possess current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Complete required Medication Administration Course
• Current BCLS certification required
• Coronary Care I (CC1) to be completed within 6 months
