Exciting opportunity for a Nurse 3 in Home Hemodialysis with a strong nephrology background in Winnipeg. This in-person role offers a chance to make a difference by working directly with patients.
As a key member of the Renal Health unit, you will assist patients with home hemodialysis treatments and provide necessary educational support. This role requires experience in nephrology nursing and includes responsibilities such as patient assessments and teaching. Your clinical expertise will be vital during this maternity leave arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-home care for hemodialysis patients
• Provide educational support to patients and families
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for care planning
• Ensure adherence to safety and clinical standards
Requirements:
• Three years’ experience in nephrology nursing required
• Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred
• Current C.R.N.M. registration necessary
• Strong interpersonal and teaching abilities
• Able to manage varied patient scenarios
