At Extendicare, we are seeking a Resident Care Manager with at least two years of supervisory experience in geriatrics or long-term care. This role emphasizes the development and review of care plans, recruitment of nursing staff, and promoting an interdisciplinary approach to care. You will also ensure compliance with health legislation and uphold our mission-driven values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous quality improvement and resident satisfaction

• Supervise and discipline nursing staff for optimal performance

• Manage care issues related to residents and families

• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration for resident care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in supervisory roles in long-term care

• Registered nurse with current licensure or eligibility

• Experience in managing in multi-union environments

• Strong leadership skills and clinical knowledge

• Knowledge of Manitoba health legislation and MDS systems
