Klinic Community Health Nurse Position

This Nurse 3 role will have you working independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team at Klinic and Ka Ni Kanichihk. You’ll provide direct nursing care while implementing strategies that focus on harm reduction, immunization, and health promotion. Your commitment to addressing the needs of high-risk groups will be crucial in advancing community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer primary health nursing care to diverse populations
• Collaborate to implement health prevention strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions
• Lead community discussions on health and wellness
• Provide triage and support for clients in need
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of nursing practice preferred
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent experience
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Current CPR certification and driving license preferred
• Knowledge of Indigenous health practices a plus
