As Director of Care, you'll lead a dedicated team committed to helping residents live better every day. You'll oversee all aspects of clinical care, ensuring high standards of resident-centered care while meeting accreditation and provincial requirements. - Lead and support the nursing team.
- Oversee resident care and care planning.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and the nursing budget.
- Promote resident safety and continuous quality improvement.
- Work closely with residents, families, and the leadership team to provide excellent care.
- Bachelor of Nursing (BScN) and current Registered Nurse (RN) registration in Manitoba.
- 5+ years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in long-term care and knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other computer systems.
