As a General Duty Nurse in CK3 Pediatric Surgery, you will perform independent nursing services and administer prescribed treatments under the supervision of the Health Services Manager. Your nursing expertise will guide patient care coordination and discharges while meeting diverse and unpredictable patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing services to pediatric patients
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications
• Coordinate care plans and facilitate patient discharges
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Lead healthcare team members effectively
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Experience in pediatric surgery preferred
• CPR certification as per employer policy
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
