As a Registered Nurse under the supervision of the Director of Resident Care, you’ll provide essential nursing services in our non-profit care home. You will ensure adherence to professional standards while collaborating closely with Health Care Aides, LPNs, and Nurse II’s.
Your role is pivotal in enhancing resident care and upholding the mission of Betel Home Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies
• Guide and direct healthcare staff during nursing shifts
• Maintain effective communication with co-workers and residents
• Demonstrate clinical nursing skills and critical thinking
• Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards
Requirements:
• Active RN licensure in Manitoba or eligible for registration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in geriatrics and dementia care preferred
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Satisfactory criminal and abuse registry checks
