As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you'll work under the Manager of Health Services, providing essential nursing services and facilitating patient care coordination. Candidates must have recent mental health experience and a commitment to the standards of practice outlined by the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide independent nursing services to patients
• Administer interventions and treatments as directed
• Coordinate patient care and discharge processes
• Demonstrate leadership within the healthcare team
• Maintain active registration with CRPNM or CRNM
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved nursing program
• Recent related mental health experience required
• Certification in CPR, as per employer policy
• Effective communication skills in clinical settings
• Moderate to heavy physical effort expected
