Join Lions Housing Centres as a Registered Nurse in a Casual role focused on comprehensive care. Employ your nursing skills to ensure quality health delivery for residents in a supportive environment.
In this position, you will report directly to the Resident Care Manager at LHC Personal Care Home Inc.
Your role demands proficiency in the nursing process, documentation, and direct nursing care—including medication administration and assessment of changes in resident health. Your expertise in gerontology will further contribute to enhancing patient care and managing clinical issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, quality care through nursing assessment and planning
• Document all activities in the health care record
• Administer medications and monitor residents for effects
• Consult with Physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide guidance to Health Care Aides (HCAs)
Requirements:
• Current CRNM/CRPNM or CLPNM nursing license
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective decision-making and critical thinking
• Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
